Sooo... you remember our breath taking rustic inspired wedding photo shoot at Pimhill Barn a few months back? I'm thrilled beyond words to have it featured in the latest issue of Wedding Ideas Magazine; it's so utterly elegant and I'm over the moon. In case you don't see it in print here is the feature;
The Photo shoot Article itself
Nestling amongst the beautiful rolling Shropshire countryside; Pimhill Barn dates back to 1584. The stunning timbered barn with its mellow brickwork and rustic oak beams offers an amazing space that you can make your own for a truly unique wedding.
Perfectly Unique Occasions, a bespoke venue styling company, used rustic textures of natural hessian or burlap with pretty lace details to dress the barn. A medley of upcycled wooden picture frames and crates along with jam jars, raffia and brown string were the perfect finishing touches that gave the barn a stylish country theme.
Elegant centrepieces of wood slices topped with pretty blossom trees adorned with glass globes containing individual flowers, and surrounded with crystal cut votives created a calming space of simple beauty.
These natural, relaxed and extremely creative images were the work of JOL photography. The super talented husband and wife duo; James and Caroline were great fun and they pride themselves on working with you to capture the essence of the most important day of your lives.
The beautiful model bride wore a fabulous ‘Anna’ wedding dress from designer Brides by Harvee. The stunning ball gown style dress with full tulle skirt, lace embellished bodice and three quarter sleeves was supplied by the highly rated bridal boutique Heavenly Brides and Belles in Shrewsbury.
An exquisite selection of statement bridal headpieces individually created by accessories designer Julieann Bird to echo the flowers, sprigs and swirl patterns in lace were the perfect choice for the swoon worthy wedding dress. A variety of matching pearl and diamante bracelet styles including a pretty chiffon flower cuff and elegant crystal drop earrings were chosen to complete the bride’s gorgeous look.
Wedding Suppliers Involved
It takes a lot of planning and hard work to create a successful wedding photo shoot. I shared a behind the scenes glimpse of what happens in an earlier blog post called 'A Day in the Life of a Photo Shoot'.
I'd like to say a HUGE thank you to the wedding suppliers, our lovely model and the editorial team at the magazine for their tremendous support in pulling this all together.
