On a glorious sunny May morning I was browsing through my inbox when I received a wonderful email from a lady in America. Her Goddaughter Sally was getting married from her home in Shropshire.
She asked if she could commission me to create a bespoke pair of statement bridal earrings and a matching wedding bracelet. Something to treasure, this would be her gift to her Goddaughter, the bride.
bespoke jewellery design process
Over the course of a few emails I discovered that Sally was having a beautiful bespoke wedding gown created for her by one of my favourite bridal dress designers; Jennifer Bone at My Little Wedding Shop in Bridgnorth.
Sally had already bought a set of pins which the earrings and bracelet were to link with.My Little Wedding Shop
It also emerged that Sally had a passion for pink. Her fabulous gown was going to be fine lace over a silk underskirt in a pretty soft shade of blush with a pale pink silk ribbon belt. After receiving more information from bride Sally, Godmother Megan, dress designer Jennifer and having seen photos of her stunning gown under creation plus her hair pins, I sketched out a few ideas and arranged to meet with Sally.
bespoke blush bridal earrings
The brief for the bridal earrings was that they should be a statement longer length design in pink to link in with the wedding dress and hair pins.
The blush bespoke bridal earrings I created for Sally were a chandelier design. Triple strands of sterling silver with a luxurious medley of natural ivory and blush freshwater pearls, sparkling Swarovski crystals in pretty shades of antique rose and silk with a delicate band of glittering diamante.

Using the same jewellery elements as the earrings I created a single stranded bridal bracelet for Sally based on the Charlotte Bracelet design.
Having slender wrists she was thrilled that her wedding bracelet was made to measure giving her a perfect fit.
“Thank you very much for doing such a fantastic job with my jewellery. I felt like a princess and had many lovely comments”
I’d like to thank Sally for sharing her utterly elegant wedding photos (courtesy of Photography by HR) and wish her all the happiness in the world for the future.
