Your privacy and security are very important to us. The purpose of this statement is to explain to you how we use the information we collect and to tell you about procedures that we have in place to safeguard your privacy.
We will never share your personal information with anyone else, other than to allow us to process your order e.g to address your parcel. In order to process payment card orders online, we need to collect certain information from you including your billing address, delivery address and phone number. Your payment card details are not held by us at any time.
We will not disclose information about our customers to third parties except where it is a necessary part of providing a service to you, e.g. arranging for a product to be shipped to you. We will never sell customer information to third parties under any circumstances.
e-newsletters. If you have opted in to receive our e-newsletters either through our website or by signing up at a show; you will have given us your name, email address and possibly the date of your wedding. This information is stored on the secure MailChimp database. We use this platform to send you e-newsletters containing information which we believe you may find useful such as details on the shows and events we will be attending, products, styling and looks, real weddings, top tips etc. We do not share this information with anyone else. Paper copies of the sign up forms from shows are held in a secure place for up to seven years to comply with our HMRC record keeping requirements and are then securely disposed of. We regularly review the information we store on MailChimp and delete our out of date lists. Should you no longer wish to receive our e-newsletters you can unsubscribe via MailChimp at anytime.
Social media, Blog and Gallery. With your consent we do share photographs of our customers wearing our products, their weddings and special occasions on the social media platforms we use (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Google+) as well as our website blog and gallery. We only ever use first names and don’t tag our customers in our posts, customers are of course free to tag themselves.
Orders Placed in Person. After 25 May 2018, when you place an order with us in person, you will be asked to complete a customer contact form. This form allows you to select how we may use the information you have provided e.g. your preference for means of contact as well as giving you information about how you can change this at any time. These forms are held in a secure place for up to seven years to comply with our HMRC record keeping requirements and are then securely disposed of.
Our website is structured so that you can place an order without creating an account. You will still need to provide certain information such as delivery and billing address, email address and phone number etc to enable us to process your order.
Cookies are only used on this shopping site to enable the Shopping Cart functionality and to enable us to be able to gain high level usage data on analytics. The cookie doesn't hold or transmit any personally identifiable data to us or to anyone else.

Payment can be made using credit or debit cards online via our payment facility or via PayPal.
Our payment service providers are Stripe and Paypal. You can choose which to use - your payment details are entered either through your Paypal account or via our Stripe payment gateway. Stripe is a secure global payment business operating in 23 countries worldwide. The company is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of banking certification. Their priority is to ensure that transaction data is handled in a safe and secure way. All sensitive data is secured using internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards and they are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure that their systems are impenetrable.
In addition, all sessions on our site are secure and encrypted via a Secure Socket Layer (SSL). You will see https:// in the web address, and/or when you see the locked padlock symbol alongside the URL.
So when buying through our site, you can be sure that you are completely protected.

When you place an order online you are transferred out of our site to a Secure Site operated by either Paypal or Stripe. Both are encrypted secure online facilities. All transactions take place over a secure server (via secure socket layer or SSL). When you place an order, all card numbers and details are encrypted between yourself and the payment providers. No banking details are ever held in clear text on any website or by Julieann.
We reserve the right to hold, suspend or cancel orders at any time if the payment and/or delivery details provided by the customer are not legitimate and/or the transaction is not authorised by the bank. Any suspected fraud attempts will be investigated and reported to the appropriate authorities.
